Yesterday was the last Othello performance, it went really well I think. We got lots of good reviews from people… of course no one will say it was bad! they’ll keep it to themselves, right? but things really went well, and we had people waiting on the gates for tickets for the last 2 days… it was overbooked, at least that was what I heard ;)
I didn’t go to the gym in 2 weeks. And been eating lots of fast food during the rehearsals… what would you eat if you have a 45 minutes break and there’s no decent restaurants next to the British embassy of course, so hello Souq Sharq food court!! I think I gained a lot of weight…. not that I’m worried, but I was really eating wayed wayed and not going to the gym, so you do the math… or you do the fat :p
I still have the last 30 pages of a book I’m reading and didn’t finish it yet, it’s been maybe 4 weeks wallah. I still have lots of projects coming up, 3 short films and an ad for TV… busy busy busy… I haven’t watched a film in a few weeks ba3ad, which is very critical in my case… I miss movie nights in my place, specially the ones that Hussain falls asleep during, it’s an indication that the film is really good… this rating system is better than any other ;)
My brother is getting better, and he’ll be out of the hospital hopefully next Thursday… I really miss him… and glad he’ll be out
I would like also to thank Reemi for organizing the films screening in KU this morning, and thanx to all our friends who came and I hope they enjoyed their time… of course they did!!
After that I went out to lunch with Nada, we had lots of things to talk about and I really had a great time… Thanx Nada, next time is on ME! :)

I heard a guy at the gym today saying to his friend “I wish Ramadan was all year long” … that’s another way of saying “I really like bad TV while I’m hungry and can’t have sex with my wife”
Also in the gym today I was in the jacuzzi and the guy next to me wasn’t wearing his shorts… I found that out after 2 minutes when I saw his penis… then I saw his short behind him… then I stayed there for 5 minutes and it showed on his face that he REALLY wanted to get out, so I stayed there for another 5 minutes…
I finished watching season 4 of The-X-Files 2 hours ago, what do I think? What DO YOU THINK?!?!?

Also down there is “Doodlebug” a short film by Christopher Nolan (Memento, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight) … my next post will probably be about what Christopher Nolan did to the Batman movies, which is a favor I think!

And now my blog belongs to me and what I wanna talk about…
So I decided to join a gym, not only that, I joined for 18 months marra wa7da… It was an offer I couldn’t refuse!
Anyway, so I started going 1st of September, and today I decide to start my gym diary, not only that, I’ll do it here on the blog in a new page called “The monk’s gym diary“… I’ll also be sharing my current diet here…
What I’ll do is that I’ll be posting a daily gym diary (starting tomorrow) and a monthly report of weight, body measurements and goal of current month…
Let’s hope this one turns pretty darn good…

5 years ago, I used to be over 125Kgs… yup, but dieting through the years and doing more physical activities as simple as taking a walk in Mamsha Mishref… it was always taking a walk for me, never jogging or running… but I walked fast sometimes… I was walking so fast once I almost ran!
Why I joined a gym now? There are many reasons… To get in shape, to be more able to do more physical work and to gain more felxibility is a priority (I need this for my acting and mime, not other things you dirty minded new generation!) … to reach a weight range between 74Kgs to 84Kgs…
Plus the offer I got was 300 KD for 18 months, one-hell-of-an-offer or as I like to call it “an oofer”… and the gym is really really good too… It’s the one in Crown Plaza Hotel in Farwanyia, which is 15 minutes away from where I live, which is in al-Salam Area… no need to know more about where I live… block 2, OK THAT”S ENOUGH!!
so yeah, again, let’s hope this one turns up pretty darn good…
