You know he’s been ill since he was almost 2, now he’s 15. You do the math. Why? Who is he suffering for? What did he ever do to you? Are punishing him? Are you testing him? Are you testing his parents? for 13 years! Why do that to him??? He’s suffering in the hospital as I write this… my little sister saw him and started crying, and couldn’t stop… How can you let him gain 19 kilos in 4 weeks!!
When my father called me and told me that he was in the hospital, I freaked out, because now I’m always expecting the worse, because you give me no hope.
I took my mother back home from the hospital, and on the way to the car it started raining and my mother started praying to you… Do you know how much that means to her! She was crying under the rain and praying…
Please tell me what are we supposed to do? wait more? pray more? Maybe it’s time you do something… I don’t hate you, you should know that but I’m not so crazy about you either.
When my mother told him to read some Quran, he said “I’ve read enough, I’ve been doing that for years and I’m not getting any better”… he’s only 15 and he’s already thinking this way… You don’t leave him a choice I suppose… Why is he suffering like this? can you give me a reason? I might find a way to solve it… Can’t you see the look on his face? My mother’s prayers through the years mean nothing to you? What’s wrong with you? Are you even thinking? There’s this “Looking for” field in everyone’s facebook account. I was editing my facebook account, and just found out that they removed “Whatever I can get” … that’s a good thing, but the thing is what were they thinking from the beginning!?!?! What does that mean? What was anyone thinking when he ticked that field? seriously people! Whatever I can get?? does that include animals? books? grocery bags? a tooth brush? green tea? iPods? ideas? paintings? radio waves? cancer? what the fuck does that mean!! whatever I can get? I really can’t understand those people? what are you? a public prostitute? you want to fuck anything? fuck you… wallah… whatever I can get?
In the same field there’s also relationship and networking.
But what’s more sad is people looking for friendship. Really? I mean it’s ok if I meet someone online and become friends with them, that’s fine… but looking for friendship? I don’t get it! are you so desperate that you wanna look for friends? I mean they are everywhere!! :p
When I joined facebook for the first time, and before adding anyone to my friends list facebook made me feel bad… I got this message [you have no friends] I felt bad really, I was like really? I have no friends? 0 friends! what about the people I know? they’ve been lying to me all this time! they’re not my friends? I felt betrayed :p
Then I started “adding” friends… on day 1 I had 5 friends only…which is good, I mean how many friends you need? I mean I have lots of friends who aren’t on facebook! that doesn’t mean I have only 5 friends!! I have more… then shwayya shwayya I started adding people and people adding me, then I thought hey! wait a minute! 174 friends? really? I think they should change the “friends list” to be an “acquaintances list”… I have people here whom I met once, and never spoke to again… are we friends? I don’t know… we’re facebook buddies, how about that? maybe it should be called “The friends, acquaintances and e-buddies list” how about that?
Ok, what’s with the “Top friends” application? huh? tell me? so we have top friends, and just other friends? and does that make the other friends “bottom friends” isn’t that offensive? I mean what’s next? more applications? least favorite friends? fat friends? gay friends? 3ayam friends? bado friends? not really friends? existentialist friends? temporary friends?
Another thing, what’s with some of those facebook quizzes? Do I look like someone who wants to know which TV show he is? what the fuck is that? why does anyone wants to know that!! what music genre are you? really? how about this one? what stupid quiz are you? huh? come on people? do you really wanna know what Avril Lavigne song are you? or what weapon are you? what’s that? please people, what weapon are you? what’s that? That’s just stupid!
What I hate about facebook is also people quoting themselves! I don’t get it really… you are so struck by what you said once and you decided that that something you said is your favorite quote? Get real people! Even philosophers didn’t do that! Imagine someone talking and then they say “and I quote myself ‘blah blah blah’ ” lol!
The last thing I’m gonna talk about is what some people write in the “About me” section, I saw this twice, ok? It says “open minded” … ok, can you please explain that? I haven’t met anyone who said about themselves that they are close-minded! Everyone thinks they are open minded of course, why do you have to emphasize that! When someone tells me “hey, btw, I’m open-minded” the first thing that would come to my mind is that he is inviting me to an orgy or something! I also see it like this “hey I’m open minded” *winks then he points at his wife* lol! Why emphasize that!! even if you are really open minded, do you really have to rub it in everybody’s face? Just be open minded, and stop telling me about it!!

I’m planning to quit my job by the end of this year, take a break for a few months then start doing something else… who knows? maybe I’ll develop an interest in photography and end up teaching english and really really like it and start blogging about it all the time and tell people how much I hate some of my colleagues and then change my name to Swair… who knows? :p

This is the poster of the forthcoming BAIA production of ‘Othello, The Moor of Venice’, which will be performed from October 31st to November 2nd at the British Embassy Atrium, Kuwait. (5 shows)
Set in the sixteenth century, Othello is a story of jealousy and intrigue, love and hate, honour and deceit. The story travels from the cultural city of Venice to the exotic land of Cyprus, where the controversial marriage of the black General Othello and Venetian Desdemona ends in tragedy due to the jealousy and hatred of the convincing Iago.
‘Othello’ will be performed by actors of KOROS, BAIA’s international adult acting group, who have achieved high qualifications in the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts (LAMDA) examinations offered at BAIA. It will be directed by Alison Shan Price, with music composed by Harriet Pethrick Bushman. This play is suitable for children of nine years old and older.
All ticket holders are required to submit their names and civil ID numbers prior to attending the performance for embassy security purposes.

So I’ve been sitting here for 2 hours trying to learn my lines for Othello, I learned most of them yet it’s different to say lines to yourself and then integrate them with the movement, and the cues!! OMG the cues!
Not to mention that I’m playing 3 charcters (The Duke, Montano, Clown) … always have to be the CLOWN!!! but never mind, I love it! every bitsy titsy jitsy piece of it!
Have ever watched “Extras” the tv show? written and directed AND acted by Ricky Gervais & Stephen Merchant… I tell you those 2 are comic geniuses!! The writing is killing me! what a show! The british have done it again… did I mention that the show guest starts big actors like Patrick Stewart, Orlando Bloom, Ben Stiller, Kate Winslet, Samuel L. Jackson, Sir Ian McKellen, David Bowie and Chris Martin from Coldplay… believe me you will laugh your ass off, enjoy it, hate characters, feel sorry for some, and might even cry…
The show is basically about Andy Millman (Gervais) an extra working in films and theater and his agent Darren (Merchant) and Andy’s friend Maggie (Ashley Jensen) who is also an extra…
